STS, can you structure your announcement threads in a reasonable way?

In the awakening extravagenza announcement thread it says “This week, head to the store and snag Awakening Gems for 8k each!”

And on the bottom it says “Event runs from 9/1 to 16/1”

What now? 9/1 is not this week but it was stated that it would be “this week”.
Clarification please and be more careful what you write in your future threads, thanks
