Work hard, grind hard, have gold burning a hole in your pocket and spend it on the lbs. Buy gear and make friends. Both crucial. Easy to have the most op set but without friends you won't get anywhere, and the same for the inverse.

There is no easy way for a badge unless you are the extra person in a run for lb. If you do it with your friends then you will experience failure and have to find out ways to fix it which in some points its simple and hard. For planar arena lb it took me and my friends over 100 runs because I did not realize it at the time but if you or your friends have high ping then it will effect the current server you are in.
I would have 20-40 ping in a server while they have 100+ and it would make the red portal take an extra 500ms - 1s to spawn which is a lot of time considering that you have exactly 2 seconds and 600ms to get on the lb for planar arena.
2 seconds 600ms to spawn all bosses and kill them instantly other than the 1st boss. In the end, we did make it on the lb.

I'm not so sure that the Planar arena gives a badge?? But since you got a badge I guess you are right then.

The pink doors, next to my name is the badge it gives. I didn't have a ss with the lb banner and badge on, only ss I found was this one.

If you dont want it on your main probably the hardcore class lb is easiest, especially as mage.
