Drag Staff Question

I see many drag staff with BD awake now i wonder if its working on DoT so heres my quetions.

- Does the BD awake affect the Drag Staff (DoT)?
- If you have high BD it does more damage if (DoT) applied to boss?
- Or the Drag Staff (DoT) depends only on the HP of the boss and your stats especially your (damage)?
