    Default Awake Locking and Gold Loot

    Ive thought about these concepts with the game economy in mind-

    Locking Awakes = Account Bound

    • Once players reach level 71, they are allowed to begin locking awakes
    • Awake Locks are sold in store for 250,000 gold per Lock
    • Only items fully awakened can use Locks

    This creates incentive to spend gold on gear and awakes while not making return profit via reselling or trading, allows for more players to achieve maximum enhancements (Balancing the game between the community), as well as continuing the market of awake gems to thrive while also transforming into a gold sink.

    How Locks Would Work

    • Once placing a lock onto an awake, the item will become Account Bound permanently (Even if all locks are removed)
    • Each slot can be individually locked
    • If you break the lock, it will be lost permanently and you will have to buy a new lock

    *Gold Loot Cap

    • A Gold Loot cap should be implemented to control the amount of gold inflow. More importantly players should not be able to attribute more than 1000.00% Gold Loot (Top gl% can range as far as 700%+ currently). Any enhancements that bring you above the cap will be rendered useless.

    Directing concerns about Items/Sets, it’s merely an option to use Locks, allowing the ability to have stronger enhancements. This won’t create an ultimate set as newer and better gear will continue to release, along new and difficult content; they will become obsolete therefore needing to upgrade to better gear and reawakening/locking.

    This is a progressive step towards keeping the gold influx and efflux healthy. If this was implemented the community can strive towards focusing on primary content such as Pvp,Pve, and Competition (Leaderboards), while also adjusting the community’s market for the better.

    Just clarifying, locking awakes, one lock per slot correct?

    250k to lock an awakening, even if it makes items account bound is a good insurance policy to be able to reach a desired awakening.

    It is good idea tbh. But it will be abused, and will be unfair for the people who already spent tons of elite awakening and normal awakening for their gears.

    I suggest if locking awakening it would be better locking to avoid accident clicks to re-awaken will cost 250k per item will do than locking a awake itself.

    Or just an idea, a awakening specialized for what your class is Finesse Awaken Gem, Mind Awakening Gem, and Fury Awakening Gem.

    -1 this will ruin the fun. U will see people with 99 billion of gold with 2000% gold loot. And u know what is the complication to the economy.

    Still, atm only like 0.001% ppl with 940% gold loot already ruin the market with flood of gold. Now lets see at the bigger scale, What if there are like 500 players with 1000% gold loot?

    This would really rise the prices of items. When someone bounds a tradeable item then it lowers the count of that item. More demand and less supply, wouldn't be surprised if ava sets hit 400m if this was added.

    Every time this is sugested - no. No, no.

    Not needed, & doesn’t help either new players or sts, plus its a bad gold sink.

    Even if it was for plat and not gold it would result in the rich getting richer by hoarding items no average player could’nt attain and compete with, and the average player being left if the dust of inflation.

    With gold sets reoccurring in lockeds annually during event, I don’t think so sorry. Also with a cap on Gold Loot, and Awake Locks it would be cheaper for people to get high GL% by themselves by spending their gold on Account Bound sets. (Gold Sink)

    Your statement is invalid, although it may be true gold loot sets come annually. Doesn’t mean they will drop in price(“goldsink”).

    There’s a reason why avarice sets are over 70m and greed sets are over 20m*they were less than 50m and less than 10m before they were rereleasef*

    Even though they were rereleased 2 months ago. The price raised to almost double within less than 2 months of it being released..

    Also, you can’t have 1,000-5,000 people walking around with 1,000%gl, then everyone will have billions of gold and ruin the economy even more than it already is.

    Let’s say they do implement your gold loot system, within 1-3 months you’ll start seeing noticeable changes in item prices, example, warrior Arcane Maul vanity is worth 35-40m atm, with your suggestion, you will cause it to skyrocket to over 200-300m within just a few months. Also having hundreds if not thousands of people running around with 1000% gl sets will cause STS to badly nerf gold loot drops. So instead of looting 25k- -50k per run in your ‘private booty event’ you’ll be lucky to loot 1-3k a run *with 1000% gl*.

    I’m sorry but your suggestion is too flawed. -1.

    With people spending gold on items, the awake locks, and awakes you think people will run around with billions merely from a small increase in goldloot? And if items were to become more expensive, buying expensive gears and making them bound won’t act as another gold sink?

    I can understand the points you make but it just sounds like complaints of how the game is at it’s current state.

    With this idea it remove the essence of the entire awake system, no one will spend anymore thousand of elite awake gem to get that "rare combination", everyone will end up with the perfect combination and then what?

    Dev’s have already made Bound gear(Arcane set), and people have suggested locking awakes for awhile. A concept like this would take both ideas and make them a real system that’s beneficial for the game.

    I would like to see any developer’s opinions on this topic.

    It would be a lot harder to achieve a “perfect combination” than you think with awakening individual slots. And with doing so it would create more balance between classes and the economy. Afterwards players can focus more on game content like Pve elites, dungeons, pvp and it would create more competition.

    When new gear releases people will have to upgrade and spend more gold to obtain great enhancements again.
