Skull aegis
After using it in PvP I think the defensive aspects of the proc need a buff. Duggar daggers cut right through the shield. As a defensive weapon it would be nice if it actually protected you for a little while. I agree with others, it would also be nice if the proc rate was increased slightly. Making it similar to the other weapons.

The weapon already has op damage proc, it's balanced. Or else if tanks get a defense boost rogues should also get like 1.5x hp to their procs.
You want to kill other players with the op proc while also being untouchable
Axe is a better offensive weapon over all. Aegis should be more tanky. I'm not asking for a damage buff. I would like to not get one hit through the shield by Duggar daggers. Seems like a fair trade off to me. Both are end game arcs directly opposing each other. Aegis can't one hit a rogue with Duggar daggers so it stands to reason I shouldn't be one hit when shield procs.
How come, I thought aegis was x4 dmg how come it can't one hit dugg r daggs
In pvp it adds 50% more damage. Also them removing the combo of procs; dozer aegis is the most useless lv 76 weapon. It is incredibly hard to proc and is not giving a good buff in pvp, the gears rotating around it do 30 damage to opponents.Originally Posted by Skolking

Exactly, I'm ok with the damage part of it being useless but the shield should be buffed. Not that I wouldn't appreciate a damage buff in PvP but if that isn't realistic I think a shield buff is more then reasonable. If you want damage use the axe if cover use aegis. With out a buff I agree with encryptions it's next to useless. Better off with tainted.
I believe this is even more relevant now that we can't swap weapons. If I'm stuck with one this is the most useless of the arcs. I prefer ebon over this because it at least makes the rog wait to second before nuking me.

+1, i guess proc rate is the main problem here. if proc rate was increased, then people can have difference choice to use other than axe. and maybe change crits to dmg reduction buff, since axe have haste. it will make the aegis competitive.
I don't think increasing the proc rate is necesarry, because if you proc with axe then change to aegis, you can proc easier (like 1-2 sec after changing from axe to aegis), then change to axe again and you stay with the aegis buff. I don't think dozer aegis is for PvP, because since you cannot change sets when you are in a combat..it's useless. The only weapons you can use as a war in PvP are ebon aegis and dozer axe maybe? Correct me if I'm wrong.

thats my point bro. since pvp cant swap gear, so increasing the proc rate is necessary. u can only use 1 weapon on pvp, dozer is made for pvp indeed from what its proc can do. beside for such arcane weapon, that proc rate is not too good, same like dozer axe before fix.
on pve aspect i dont think increasing the proc rate of aegis is will be a problem, since if u have axe proc then swap to aegis, it will made it proc like almost automatically too. but the problem is, not all people can afford 2 expensive weapon, thats why aegis need to be fix for those who can afford only aegis or axe. its for variety option imo.
and from what i see when using both axe and aegis, even tho axe have very good rate, its also have hidden cooldown (if u notice), the proc cant stay forever. so even aegis proc is same like dozer, not gonna be such a problem, its even an advantage for the warrior and other class to clear dungeon faster in pve. (there is no way none like good pt to clear map faster right?, sounds weird to me if some actually protest abt it)

Only time pve matters is for leaderboards. That's it. In PvP I can understand why people didn't like the stacking procs. I did like it but I'm a war. When ebon aegis came along rogues and mages left PvP. Now that they have weapons they can use they are coming back. Wars can't do their job as a meat shield if their gear can't protect them or the team. Ebon aegis was nerfed and new daggers protect from reflect. Skull aegis can't protect us with proc from daggers or curse or reflect. I'm not asking to one hit the rogues and mages just for a better defensive proc or capabilities.

Bumping this now that more warriors have these weapons. My friends are constantly asking me what the point of the weapon is and I don't have a good answer. They ask what they are doing wrong and I tell them " nothing you just wasted 20m".
