Question about Elite death engine weapons

I've been thinking about upgrading my weapon but im wondering if it will be worth it since jewels and awakes will be removed. How is it different compared to normal death engine weapons? I know theres a teenie tiny bit of increase in the stats, but how about the proc? Like increased proc chance? Or less proc cd? Is there also an added elite/boss damage or something? Thank you .😊😊
