Arlorian home show bugs

1. House results are all fixed and not randomized, giving others no chance to diversify the results ergo making things stale for curious adventurers & discourages others from employing capital into their estate.

2. When you try to search for someones house no results show up.

Edit: These bugs emerged after the hot-fix update for the home shows furnishing credentials to be factual then a pseudo facade.

The Home Show is a list of all registered houses ordered by highest furnishing count, then name. We chose to do it this way because there was an assumption that the more furnishings a player had, the higher the possibility of interesting home decor arrangements.

Ideally there would be a rating system, but after discussing the pros/cons of a rating system internally, we determined that it was either prone to exploits (multiple account creation and liking) or a paywall (have players pay Platinum to rate). Even with a rating system, eventually the list would stabilize as users nagivated/rated the listings and we would have ended up with a stable list.

I do have some ideas on how to add variety to the list (tabs for new and recently updated, limit to players that logged in in the last 24 hours, etc.), but this is the first rollout and with everything we do, things are improved over time. I welcome any additional suggestions.

Not sure what you mean by "pseudo facade", but there was a bug when we first released the feature where the furnishing count was incorrect which was fixed within an hour of discovering it.

Regarding searches, the name needs to be exact. If it is spelled correctly, there very well could be a bug, but I searched for my name and found it. Can you give me an example of a name you searched for but didn't find?

What i meant by "Pseudo Facade" is the bug causing the furnishing credentials to appear incorrect, i understand it was a bug.

1+ to the 24h limit feature, would encourage people to log-in to show off their houses!
