I don't know about them, they should have the same drop rate everywhere, so just find crowded areas like Forgotten Citadel? Luck elixir might help you get Medium pieces, but I am not sure.

From all the maps I've run, I feel like Deep Marsh has given me most of the Medium pieces, but that's just what I feel like and I never checked if it's true or not. XD
