They're not even the same item types? Top 10 is armor/helm, plat store is weapons.

The goblin event zones are normal pve zones, hardcore dead is dead.

This year's "50 Crate Keys" reward is not trade-friendly.

Skipping the event. The (Tradeable) crate keys are the main reason 80% run the goblin event btw.

Is there some reason you don't want to use crate keys on your own account? It's literally free locked opens.

So you just liked being able to sell them - that seems like a lot of effort running the event for that, relative to doing other things for the same amount of gold.
