It's not you. I got it too. There was an update with no news a few days ago. Now there's news with no update. Makes perfect sense to me.
I haven't check star legends yet. There was one for Pocket Legends as well.

Hey Abbasjammmy,
Our apologies for the blurb changing when that patch wasn't out yet. We will be patching Star Legends (and Pocket Legends) in the near future to cut the Premium Character packages and put in a cool free vanity helm along with some other festivities and giveaways to celebrate recent awards.
We've rolled the news blurb back, so it should be correct. Look for patch notes soon for the next update.

Not so nice I made premium eng and op because my comm was capped and I was bored and wanted to see how the other halfs lived.
