Hey guys. My computer's specs are absolutely terrible, having a 30g hdd and less than 256 mb of ram. As you can imagine, it's very hard for me to play any kind of game that's more intensive than adventure quest. However, after hours of searching, I discovered Talisman Online. It runs perfectly on my 10+ year old computer, and the graphics aren't too shabby. It is basically a watered down version of wow, and the client size is less than 500mb! This is in no way meant to bash STS, it is just to help people with older computers that can't run much, like mine (:. Some of the translations aren't too good, as it's a Chinese ported game, but that's the only bad thing I've noticed so far. If you decide you want to try the game, add adidaman and we can level up together (I'm only level 4 ATM). Thanks for reading.

Try "Runes of Magic"... its the f2p clone of wow.

Runes of magic is a awesome alternative, but if you are looking for a MMORPG, Runescape is a good alternative, plus, all you need is the latest version of java, which can be downloaded free at www.java.com.

No dowloading the client, just java is needed.

I also recommend Zu Online. (Low player base, but it's extremely fun.). These are basically wow alternatives for older computers
