What's the nicest gift anyone ever gave you in game?

Mine was a BAT WING that was worth about 350,000 gold at the time. It was given to me by someone I didn't even know! I was simply helping a group that was about 12 levels lower than me when one of the players private messaged me "why are you helping us?" I replied "for fun" then he gave me the wing. When I asked him why he was giving me such a valuable item he said... "for fun" :-)

That players name is Athor and is now one of my fave PL friends.


I also had several random friends give me special items when I made 66!

I tried to help a lone lvl. 19 archer to beat the Goblin King in their stronghold yesterday ... we couldn't slay him, you really need a party for that, it seems.
Anyway, he told me to empty some slots in my inventory and gave me a longsword and ironrock shield !!

Didn't even know you could make gifts ... how is it done (in game) ??

Ladylove: She will be SORELY missed. She gave me her most prized possession, a purple L20 Halloween Doll back when it was worth 3m+. One of the rarest items in PL. Even to this day, when Halloween items came back (WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT), I kept it through the price crash. It is a token I'll remember her by.

TheLoneArcher: Gave me 4M through LadyLove when he got banned. (She was his financial manager at the time.) This guy taught me how to PvP, much respect for him.

Rosettes: Helped me farm my holiday items, saving me platinum. I will always appreciate it!

SuperLisa: Giving me 1M randomly, simply for being a close friend to her.

JoeyChandler: Giving me 2M when he quit. I miss our intellectual conversations about life and twinking.

Lucilulu: Been amazed with his genorisity, this guy just keeps giving and giving. Mainly gave to our guild, but his support was incredible!

I have much respect for all these players. (Not to say those who don't give me gifts don't have my respect! LOL! Would make me a gold ........, no? )

I have tried to give a lot of the generosity I've received back into the community, as I believe in the philosophy of "spreading the wealth". Not everybody has good karma, so you MAKE good karma for them. Seeing their reactions is well worth the few 100k worth of coins you just lost.

Anyways, there are probably many more, I just did not want it to seem like a bragging post, however, if by request, I can edit your name in! You all know who you are.
