Just my opinion, but if the tradable blue gems are 30k each, the price of blue gem on auction won't drop.
Thus, making those who are new to the game or those who haven't participated on this event might have a hard time buying blue gems for their own use.

Why is everyone crying about making gold this event? We have been littered with events lately that have been more than profitable. Not everything needs to be about "getting rich" just boost your gear and get on with the game. Also...how many of you took advantage of double free plat offers? Literally free elite awake gems. Lets be more smarter ;p

Make this Blue Gems permanent in store whether it's tradeable/not , in that way all players will have the chance to get to awake their gears.
Awakening extravaganza IMO is supposed to be going for the OP awake only.
Blue gems already reach to 40k when it was only 8k during the event. Now you're going to make it 30k, then it will reach to 100k later on.
You guys(STS) already put this elite awakening gems permanent in store, so why not do the same for blue gems.
This event is just disappointing... "Balancing" still favors those who got to hoard blue gems last january and RIP for new players or just returned players who were expecting to create profit but end up just getting real sad... And don't get me started on the "but the previews events were more than profitable" statement. I mean all the gold I made from grinding those were only enough for decent gear thanks to how pricey the "good" gear are nowadays. At least don't make the tradeable blues 30k from 8k in a blink of an eye... These will continually rise until only rich players will be able to afford them so where's the "balancing" in that?

When "everybody" makes 100M-s out of "few clicling" (btw including me ofc.) that makes super-duper-hyper inflation in long run.
So something has to be changed.
When Duggar Dagger was new, it costed 150M+ - who state this is normal??? - and I speaking with one item which is not a limited number collectible!
The trade system itself is not planned for this amount.
We had too much gold in the system.
Now this event sink more gold, item prices will go to a "more normal" range (this is my prediction).
We will see if my prediction will be true in mid run, or not...
Well, we got no choice but to accept it. For me personally, I like the idea of balancing in order for the market to go overboard.

Why is there so much concern for new players? Its not like they can make 100m just in a month there are lots of things they need to learn first.
Also new players dont have a high budget for stuff, everyone has a small start, unless you are p2p player.
Everyone starts from 0 here.
Eventually everyone makes good amount of gold by learning how to make it.
It will be hard for some people to accept this event, but i think they're (Devs) just trying their best to balance the gold value asap so that their won't be much of the problems left for the future.
When the new expansion will come, everyone will need gems to awake those gears, and if sts dont keep the event sooner, it'll be smart to invest in the 10k gems, only for those who love to awake gears.
