The new implementation in the awakening event

People think because untradable singles are 10k they will lower the price but they won't. Auction price Will stay at 35k+ and WHEN people run out of their untradable gems and they WILL those gems will rise to 100k. And you know these people that complained about the gems being 8k will complain about them being 8k again. I personally don't think STS made a good decision with this one. I understand rising the price up a bit maybe even double it but 30k is simply too much. A new player or a player that didn't participate in the awakening event shouldn't have to pay so much just to awaken their gear which was already hard enough to get. These 8k gems made Awakenings more accessible more friendly to new players and weren't causing any harm which already wasn't caused.

Hopefully STS atleast change the price of the gems to HALF of what it will be which is still the double of what it was. Whilst many people don't like it for some reason, hoarding tradable gems is necessary, so after a few months you don't have to pay 100k+ just for a normal gem.

You know.... The gems..... They are craftable..... Also purchasable for plats.....

If ppl are selling elite gems for 100k each, then no matter the situation, the normal ones would be cheaper.

The prices of normal awakes probably won't rise very high since elite ones, which are better, have a staple price of 80k during normal times.

No-one would buy overpriced normal gem when a better version is available....

People have missed many events that had exclusive rewards and they're doing just fine. Poor new players won't be getting their free Heroic Blacklight anymore...

You can still craft gems after the event by the way, and STS just buffed the drop rate. ;3
