+ Granted platinum for Ironsource offers during the 2x period.
+ Lupo should sell the Bloodgrub Relic for Elondria tokens, not Littleridge tokens.
+ Increased Incense Fragment drop rates.
+ Jewel Elixirs revamped:
+ - Can now drop from bosses in Vardan Valley zones and Deep Marsh
+ - Now last twice as long
+ - Now reward jewels on kill credit rather than damage, and have much higher chances
+ - Chances are reduced for mobs below your level; zero chance for monsters more than 5 levels below yours
+ - No longer only work in specific zones

The elixirs drop from bosses. The jewels drop from everything.

If you mean sometimes showing the magnifying glass vs showing the empty slots, that's with the next app update - no ETA on that yet. It really doesn't matter though - all items of the same type + rarity have the same number of slots.
