Dream eater AP

Heyas, I'm trying to get the dream eater ap, I have tried the way explained on then forums -- Enter nightmare raid, complete it, then sleep in a bed. -- It doesnt work for me. When i sleep in the bed I get pink particles above my head but I dont get ported anywhere.

Additional info.
I'm currently on the quest; mythic dreamscape mortar (defeat ashara 666 times)

I also have four grey quests called
- descending into dreams
- sleepless nights
- the dream unfolds
- the dream expands

The general consensus among those I have asked is that I dont need to complete the ashara quest to be able get the ap. Any information and/or help is greatly appreciated thank you.

As far as i know, after lying down the bed you should interact with those pink particles
