Mages stop trying to tank anything

A good mage can tank 90%+ of the games content and as much as i think that doesnt make sense, it tends to be fine

I know and maybe thats why they keep trying but not all of them have the top notch equipment and when I see a mage really close by bosses's red zones at deep marsh or evg then I can't avoid facepalming.
