Sets are very useful in their correct areas, if you are planning to run in X map, consider buying the set that is made for it.
(Nightmare, Antignome, Mireguard...)

I highly recoment you sacrifice STR and play safe, in certain maps, shield skill it's not even necessary if you play with a good party and warriors do their job.

*pvp it's completly different, shield skill and STR it's a major go*
