I miss the 56 cap...

I wonder if any of you out there agree with me, but im disliking the caps we are getting..

A quick outline of why Im saying this is because combat has been getting more and more unbalanced..

Lets look at the current cap :

Wand set rapes.
Thats basically what I'm seeing so far after being inactive and coming back after couple months.
There isn't any variety at all.
Everyone moved over to full int as an enchantress.
Dual builds no longer stood a chance as how they did in the past.

Staff set is pure junk.
What happened to the almighty nuking set?
Back in the "Mega Mage" time of the 56 cap, Staff set did what it was supposed to do.
Heavy damage, thus negating the high defence of the Wand set, making it a much closer fight.
Look at it now, mediocre damage that does not catch up to the wand set's armour.

The 61 cap.

Once again, wand set remained a bit superior but not as bad as it is now.
Demonic A/B set owned, the original Int > Dex mage has been proven wrong.
High damage with a ridiculous 0.8 weapon speed.

I just miss the 56 cap because my friends actually played at that time. It was a blast. Now they have quit.

I agree mostly with what you said. 56 pvp was by far the best pvp period ever. Custom was awesome, mm was awesome, enchanted was super awesome. Right now, I'm using a staff set because I'm short on gold. It's still playable but more challenging. So it's not pure junk XD. Plus, I never liked dual spec, I was more of a pure int mage since the beginning.
The only complaint I have really, is that pvp is impossible unless you are rich with a crafted set or willing to die a lot.
Back in the sewer days, you could kill a person with a set using sewer greens and yellows. Now, it's almost suicide going in with anything less than crafted or the other set.

No, past isn't past actually.
The game is still developing with more caps to come along.
Improvements can still be made.
Devs just gotta focus more on balancing the sets.
Pvp is becoming larger and is holding its place amongst the PL community.
Should be one of the more important things on the development list.

Sigh I'm totally hosting a LVL 50-56 tournament to spark more intrest! (Only sewer gear) And also! I would like to say... 55 pvp still is on going it's just annoying when demonic and Lilith people come into your game... XD

I miss the 56 cap to but maybe the STS can work on some better weapons for next cap if they see this or peopl suggest it
