+ Increased the minimum gold that Cap'n Squall can drop (by 10X)!
Then why is the drop rate of gold still the same, always giving 1-2k

You've been pretty lucky with the gold drops if you consistently get 2K. The minimum gold that Squall drops has been increased with this update. It was a very small figure (I think it was actually 10 and now it's 100 minimum).

I guess another way to look at this is: if you got a maximum of 1K gold from Squall... after this update you also get a maximum of 1K gold from Squall.
If you got a minimum of 10 gold from Squall, after this update you'd get a minimum of 100 gold from Squall.

Hopefully that makes sense! :-)

What was the difference? This event is ruined compared to the last year, no motivation to play this crap. The 99.9% players think the same. Increase the gold loot at least one day, is not an event for the entire year wtf....

I looted 1.2k tbh with 600gl. Divide 1.2k by 600% gives me 200. Divide 200 by 10 because "x10 minimum" so that gives me 20. Thats the update and buff

I think it can be really good if just is 1 wave because i spent like 45 seconds per map for get around 5k-12k all time. In evg i can get minimun 8k and max 32k in 30seconds per wave. Just is an opinion and it will be really good for acelerate the farm ty.

Everything is explained pretty good tbh. Don't want to sound rude, but I highly suggest learning to read better. It clearly said "raising the minimum", that means the maximum wouldn't be touched, so your false hopes are because you read the news too fast. :P
