I'm not exactly sure who if any members (aside from a very select few) that are "open" about their orientation. I've come to the conclusion some people are still ignorant about the subject, and may or may not bash on us. I've seen some of this happen in game. I haven't seen it on forums as much. So anyways, this thread is a "coming out" thread if you will. And I'm more than happy to be open about it seeing how I've had few forumers ask me in game lol yes I'm gay, and no the question doesn't bother me . BUT at times it does bother me that people say "that's so gay." Just a reminder that gay people like myself do exist and are or could be actively involved in forums and in game. Watch your words is all I'm asking not just for myself but for those who might find it hard to be gay in a gamers community where most are straight. We are all equals, and would like to be treated as such. Remember keep it P.L.U.R. Peace Love Unity Respect (and Responsibility). If any other member(s) are willing to post that they are secure and open about it feel free to post, I'd like to get to know more than just the 2 or 3 I already do know lol

btw I understand some people don't agree with our preference, so if that's your case don't bother posting anything hateful...

Don't worry about it I know I'll always be your friend no matter what. Some people will be judgemental but you have to push past it. Myself being a Christian am not supposed to support it, but I don't hate it either.

If anyone ever "bullies" you in-game, it is bannable. So make sure you report it.

I think anyone has the slip of the tounge sometimes, so you can't always prevent it. But if someone is purposely doing it to bother you, thats wrong.

I'm straight, with both straight and gay friends. Some like girls, some like guys. I have female friends that find me attractive, but it's a friend thing between us in the end of the day. I have male friends that find me attractive, and I don't treat them any different. Gay guys are funny as hell, they're always full of life, they're more understanding through emotional issues than my straight male friends, but I can have as good of times with them as my straight male friends.

I know what you mean but it is more of an awareness thread. And even the military got rid of the "Don't ask, don't tell" rule. I'm just simply saying there are rude comments made in-game if you haven't seen any you must be afk, yes like moth said at times it can't be avoided, even I say it, but it's to show awareness of the issue. Hey, I totally respect that and wow, that took some courage to write, I'd be proud too if I was u xD but the thing when people say "oh that's gay" I believe there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's like a completely different context, like years ago when the term 'gay' meant happy, words change to have different meanings, and using the word in a different context shouldn't really be seen as wrong.
But dude, be proud haha, u must feel so BIG right now. I mean if ur gay, then ur gay, I see no reason why it should be hidden. And no matter what, ur still a great friend xD
