I think you just missed it and someone killed it before you all noticed. The notification for boss is colored white, it often get mixed up with the loots

Means some one kill the boss in one two or three hits? Can ask if we can have a boss loot even if we are far with no boss healt on screen? If not i think we waste our energy there.
