It might be because you left before you die or the tour ends.

Strange solution, but thank you for suggesting it! I’ve missed out on hundreds of tokens up to this point, so I’ll take any solution.
Perhaps it’s because after wave 20 I will usually quit to menu, rather than change zones via the map. I will have a go at exiting via map, thank you.
P.S. I tried checking my satchel while still in event map, and Temple tokens weren’t in my satchel. They ARE when I’m out of the event map, which is odd.

The timer needs to run out OR you need to be dead to collect tokens.
Suggest deliberately staying until the 1minute timer runs out on wave 21 by using speed set and running in circle to avoid farming deaths.
