Birthday event and the Vanity comeback poll

That s mostly a request to @Cinco since last time you agreed on making in future a poll on which vanity sets/weapons we would like to see comeback in vanity version.

Since few years ago it was made for Birthday event and since this is the period you usually release this event some of us wanted to ask: is it coming?

Maybe @Remiem can organise an official forum post (or maybe pick the old 2/3 threads about the old gears back in vanity version ) asking for which sets, which weapons we would like to have as vanity.

Maybe the rules could be:

Subtim in a post max 5 request of what you wanna have back as vanity
1 wep counts as 1 request
1 set (helm+ armor) counts as 1 request

After all requests have been submitted in a limited time (a weekend - 3 days) Devs will pick 4 weapons of each type and each class and 4 sets of each class (the ones they prefere) and put them on poll

4 guns
4 staff
4 daggs
4 bows
4 swords
4 aegis

4 mage sets
4 rogue sets
4 war sets

The poll (available for a week) will make comeback only 2 weapons of each type and each class and 2 sets of each class as vanity (the most voted).

It would be needed a list of those gear names cause many of us know the sets with common names we have given, which probably might make confusion for devs find them.

I m not expert of collectible so maybe if anyone wanna post them or recall a completed list from old threads it is very welcome to post it here.

Here s a example of how a submitted post request should be:

1 Frost touched gun
2 Blue founder set (mage type)
3 Black heraldic set (rog type)
4 Glintstone bow
5 Gold heraldic set (war type)

We already make plenty of suggestion and i think that if we do a poll, not enough player use the forum, it might reflect only a small picture of what people really want, and also i'm sure it will be abuse by certain group of players

Naw let the rarity stay rare.
Gives a nice feel to the game.
Do you see any top game that brings back the lost og items.no.It stays a mystery and vanity to all the newcomers and makes it feel like this game has it's depth.
Not where u install today and get all the items for money in a jiffy what some players took years to get and showcase (without getting banned that is ).

A very large part of community showed to be active here thanks to Tour of Arlor so I do think there would be enough voices to speak.

How people can abuse it? Vote with multiple accounts? It s not even an event where it s so important and that you need cheat to win lol, I mean it s just suggestion to which vanities add in event. Few years ago it didn't have any problem when it was made.

Again and again.. It's useless to suggest bringing back rare sets that hold value because they are rare..
Im pretty sure they won't.. So stop bringing it up in every post similar to this.
Poll might work but for new vanities or smthing... Not sets that are not available anymore or rare.

Uhmmm the only reason I made the post is cause dev said the poll to decide which vanity should come back was a nice idea xD. So I wanted to ask when it is really coming and if it s still on sts plan, I didnt make the post to spam vanities comeback

For me poll looks useful if we can decide among things we already have and so we can choose.

Umm.. Dosnt have to be new...
Maybe items that are not as rare and hold soo much value... There are soo many other cheep legendries that looks sick...
Also there are npc's that can look good as vanity.. It'll be good to have them on poll maybe..

There s an ice staff or nordr guardian jewel wep that worth 30-100k only but looks really good.

They already released tsunami blades (which they were rare if im not wrong) but community appreciated them aswell.

Personally I love blue founder not cause its rare but cause that colour its just awesome (and I was a lover already of the green founder set xD).

I do agree some people enjoy vanities just cause of rarity.. But some are just perfectly designed that sounds a waste not wear them.

Also, how would you solve the poll for devs? Vote only the cheap items and not the expensive ones?

Cause (for me) a part of the expensive are the best designed.

Dam im daltonic, I always tought that was orange XD. Later i ll check it out better in game but if I remember well they re not exactly the same design.

The purple and yellow founder you can see the legs, while green red and blue nope, the tunic is long till the floor.

Devs should make their own decisions regarding vanitys. Bringing back tsunami blades in a vanity form was something new and most people liked it. But I hope they dont continue down this road and bring back more vanitys like this. It was fun for one time but turning rare items into vanitys for the whole player base is really a joke to those who worked hard for their rare items. We should encourage sts to make good new content in the future, and not bring back existing old content. I hope they dont sell the games 'soul' for some $$.

Since we’re only a month away before Arcane Legends turning its 8th anniversary, I better make a vote which one I’d like to suggest so developers can take it into consideration as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that as a collector for only sorcerer, the following shown below are only things I can assure that majority of sorcerer players will agree upon and will be possible to turn it into vanity in the near future.

Furthermore, I’ve been collecting ages ago so I’m sure I won’t lose any of its value and/or uniqueness from it. However, this is only based on sorcerer and my favourite ones. I’m not sure on other classes as I’m not interested to look at it.

I have tons of collections BUT I’m sorry if I miss something. I know my limits so keep it that !
