I don't think the +17 in "mature" matters cause I can remember that when I went to go buy world at war all the gamestop guy told my dad was "this game has blood and violence are u sure u want to buy this game" he never said sry but ur son is to young for this game. so if the rating says "mature" then u kids have to be mature.. So imo +17 doesn't matter...

Mature is referring to age. not the maturity of someone. For ratings mature is defined as 17+. so yeah

Then it should be quoted as "+17" Tbh there are 14-16 year olds that are way more mature then most 17 year olds out there, yeah u can be 17 but can u handle the maturity lvl?

Your dad was the one buying it though, not you, and since he is over 17 then he can buy it if he wants. If it had just been you (assuming you were under 17) the cashier would have asked for ID then said no. Speaking from personal experience.

It doesn't matter who buys it -_____- he was talking about who's playing it...when I bought Black Ops they told me all this bad stuff and when I finally played it, it was perfectly ok, they made everything sounds 10 times worse than it actually was...

Yeah I was gonna fix that I ment to put "are u sure u want to buy this for your son" and I was standing right next to my dad when the game was bought

You bought it yourself without your parents there? Tbh i highly doubt that.

Yup, you bought it with parental consent which is essentially the same as having your parent buy it for you. However when i attempted to buy Dead Space without my parents present when i was 16 i was told no.
