Bug Abuse: People are intentionally using Regular Gear in Ranked Honor PvP

The video describes it all, but essentially you use hotbars to swap fast right before you enter your ranked honor pvp match. Please note that this can be done in both ranked honor pvp and honor pvp. The video has just shown it in honor pvp as there was no ranked game at that time to test in.

There was a player called Whysostupid abusing it to climb the leaderboard. Since then, several players have started abusing it. Wap has demonstrated how it is done in this video, but has not abused it.

Furthermore explaining this bug. A certain player (I won’t name names, but we all know who it is) has abused this bug to climb the ranked leaderboard. When we all accused him of it in windmoore, he said something along the lines of “I just press join.” I did some investigating and figured out how he does it. I linked a video, if you hotbar and join the map fast enough, you’re able to join with gear.

PS. It’s the dev’s call, but I definitely believe this player deserves ranked honor ban for at least the rest of the season. It’s not like he was accidentally abusing the bug, he abused it consciously. This ruins the competitive integrity of the game as not only does it effect the players he got into a match with, but also the players who are grinding leaderboard without cheating.
