Elite awakening elixir?

Every other day, we hear about how normal/blue awakening gems have become ridiculously expensive & people asking for another Awakening event or increasing the frequency of it. Cinco has mentioned that it's too soon to return & that's understandable. However, I was wondering if there's another way to tackle this problem.

The biggest headache today with awakening gems is that you could easily use like 100 of them & not open a single slot. Whenever I think of this, I recall a video from @Encryptions where he uses 100 gems on a pernicious pendant & doesn't open even one slot, which is just ridiculous. With prices of the blue gems hovering around 80k these days, that's 8m in gold!

The basic Awakening elixir costs 5000 gold & opens a single slot. How about we have an elite awakening elixir which costs perhaps 10 or even 100 times as much but opens all slots? I fully agree that getting good awakes is a gamble much like how things work in a casino. However, the current implementation makes it feel more like gambling to just get into the casino!

This elite elixir would open up all the slots & people can gamble to their heart's content without having to worry about burning gems on just opening slots. Spending 80k on a blue gem wouldn't feel as insanely risky as it is today & people would be more likely to spend that kinda gold since they know that it wouldn't be a total waste. As an bonus, this elixir would be a very good gold sink throughout the year if it's made available through the store.

True. This'd work if there was some consistency to it. It's just insane that you can spend 100 gems & not open a single slot, especially at current prices. Like I mentioned, this is similar to gambling just to get entry into a casino!

I'd rather pay an "entry fee" (which is the elixir) & gamble until I go bankrupt once I'm inside the casino. :-)

Indeed! The lack of consistency makes buying gems a risky thing. I don't mind paying 80k for a blue gem if I know that it wouldn't go straight into the trash can.

They can make the elixir a bit expensive & not like 5000 for the regular one. Also, this is only for opening the slots meaning it's not like there's a huge chance of getting op awakes. If it's priced something like 300k, it's as good as burning a few gems (at a price of 10k per gem during the Awakening event, that's still 30 gems). The extra benefit is that it'd act as a good gold sink throughout the year reducing the chances of crazy inflation we see every now & then.

Problem with all threads and your one is that you just want to get even better awakens for yourself or to sell equipment. Most people dont look for benefit of a game, you just make it look like it.

Ummm.....yeah! The whole point of having awakening gems, elite awakening gems & an awakening event is to get better awakes! That's literally the point! You can use the equipment, sell it or even discard it. That's up to you.

I wont go and fully explain this cuz i think its kinda clear but i will tell you this. Its okay to look for yourself and to have opinion about any topic, just dont make it look like its for sake of balanicng the game, gold sinking or for all others. Most Awakening threads were literally people just wanting to push their own need(which is totally fine) under the mask of "fixing the problem". Yours is same. Look last sentence. It would be a gold sink throughout the year. You basically want it aviable any day of the year for yourself but you will make it as its for "gold sinking".

I disagree.. blue gems do have a lower chance on opening slots than elite gems..

Also, when I made a thread about it last year, asking the devs to decrease the price of gems (8k to 30k, 99 out of 100 comments were against my idea.. now most of the people are complaining. As I predicted, gems go above 120k+, as elite go 150k any time soon.

I think it is good the way it is, as people told me backthen “adapt to the changes and stop crying”, I recall ArcaneFid’s comment on me backthen, therefore, adapt to the current situation and stop making threads about this. The last part is in general... to everyone. Be more strategic next time.

i actually like the idea that awakes should be 30k each and not 8k because awake gem price goes up much faster now

That's not bad actually. For me the ratio usually is 50 gems for a slot . I am hoping the game actually increase in price more, but I am wondering how that will happen, I just don't see many people blowing crazy amounts of gold for little to often no reward from awakening.
I have no idea why it would be too early for another awakening event. If they are worried about economy they could just give us an event to compensate.

Use Elite Gems, quite often you can open multiple slots with 1 gem. Awakens are an investment, consider this before expecting the slots to open quickly.

Blue gems should be used to change badd awakenings only. Quite useless otherwise.

Large increase to drop rate of Awakening Gems materials(add in a gold cost to craft them.)and make them untradeable. That would benefit the players who invest time into playing the game.

It is random.

I have opened 3 slots with the initial awakening elixir and zero with the elite awakening gems.

The best way, as far as I can tell, is to stop with that item when it is too stubborn - for some reason, it is rolling bad numbers. Move on to another item or return to it another time.

There are times when it seems super easy to open slots with normal gems and times when it seems super hard to open slots.
