Wearing the paid aura with the 3/3 set would probably just show the normal aura effect? Or why would there be anything different, it wouldn’t make sense.

The paid aura spins around while the 3/3 aura doesn't.
Yeah, I believe this was intentional. They wanted to make the paid one more appealing to buyers :P
