Ever since that update issued a while ago the pl app itself is slow it takes forever to contact the server and from there it gets stuck at the loading screen ( little knight running )
what can i do to fix this?

I'm having the same problem on my galaxy s captivate
lol at least im not alone in this.
Same here. Very slow connection, timing out, disconnecting. Takes forever for the game to load. Same problem on Droid Bionic and in Google Chrome browser.
