I saw a kid in town when I was talking to buy glyph items list his bow and hat in the CS for over 800k together. I talked to him and he said yes it is a noobish thing to do, and he got them for about 400k together, just wanted to make a lot of money and see if they'd sell. Of course the hat sold for 350k and the bow is still there for 525k but it's annoying people do this so much it has become commonplace.

You're blaming him for taking advantage of the market? Come on. If people didn't pay, it wouldn't sell.

Common misconception about "worth". Something is worth what someone will pay. Not more or less.

Lol, I am enjoying this thread, but I must agree. People who blame "greedy sellers" most likely have never heard of the economics of supply and demand.

As for beggers/scammers, my favorite thing to do now is to agree to give them gold or "fall for the scam", then open trade, put in a ridiculous amount of money, like 1 million and hit accept and leave it on the confirm screen.

The begger/scammer will go insane seeing how close they are to getting more money than they could imagine, but still just be inches away from it. This is a good time to then go shower, or get food/nap. Come back in like 15-20 minutes and see how long they have held out and how many messages they've sent you.

This only actually really works if you play on chrome (which I do) since it doesn't log you out, and also you have to have the cajones to risk losing it all if you accidentally click the second confirm button! Just keep that mouse away!!

What I do if I want to vent is type out a post, say everything I want to in it, then DELETE it. Why? Merely writing it out helps, but deleting it stops drama from coming on the forums.

Didn't mean any offense to anyone by saying that btw, I'm just saying...
And I found it quite mean to judge 12-13 year olds like that, some might be immature but some aren't.
I also hate beggars, but I just mute them... It's fun when they shut up for once
