    Default How to calculate your dodge! (The Equation)

    ~How to calculate your dodge!~

    -Please remember this is the best I can do. This is to get a rough estimation of how much your dodge will be without having to respec or buy gear.-

    ~Part 1~

    Key terms to know (all is in dodge):

    h=helm
    a=armor
    g=sword
    k=shield
    r=ring

    Attributes...

    s=strength added to attribute
    d=dexterity added to attribute
    i=intelligence added into attribute

    Alrighty, let's get the equation!

    h+a+g+k+r+.03s+.02d+.01i

    ~Part 2~

    You can skip this part if you are not using a set.

    Now, we're going to add how much dodge set bonuses give. Sometimes a set bonus's dodge really matters!

    Add the number of dodge to the number you got from up there.

    Copperhead's set (str): +3 dodge
    Rift set with scimitar and shield (str): +5 dodge
    Cyber void set with mega-blaster (dex): +1 dodge
    Sentinnel's death set with talon and wing (dex): +2 dodge
    Guardian's hate set with hax and shield (str): +3 dodge
    Raid roach's set with talon and wing (dex): +2 dodge
    Custom set with talon and wing (dex): +2 dodge
    Enchanted gemstone set with wand and bracer (int): +2 dodge
    Enchanted gemstone set with staff (int): +2 dodge
    Enchanted gemblast set with staff (int): +2 dodge
    Fury fighter's set with mace (str): +2 dodge
    Glyph obedience set with dagger (dex): +4 dodge
    Glyph charmin' set with wand (int): +4 dodge

    Mount Fang sets have not been added... If you know a set bonus with dodge, please private message me or post... Thanks!

    ~Part 3~

    Time for buffs! Remember there are 3 buffs in the game that boost dodge. They are evasion, evade, and taunt. Evasion is for birds and evade and taunt are for bears. Mages don't have one =(... Just a quick fact, in PVE, taunt with literally taunt your enemies so that they will attack you.

    Add how much dodge accordingly to your skill build:

    Evasion (dex)

    Level 1: +4 dodge
    Level 2: +8 dodge
    Level 3: +12 dodge
    Level 4: +18 dodge
    Level 5: +24 dodge
    Level 6: +30 dodge

    Evade (str)

    Level 1: +2 dodge
    Level 2: +4 dodge
    Level 3: +6 dodge
    Level 4: +8 dodge
    Level 5: +10 dodge
    Level 6: +12 dodge

    Taunt (str)

    Side note: Taunt can be stacked twice. Which means if you get +3 dodge each time you taunt, you can get +6 dodge if you stack them. The downside is you have to spam taunt to keep it stacked twice.

    Level 1: +2 dodge
    Level 2: +3 dodge
    Level 3: +5 dodge
    Level 4: +5 dodge
    Level 5: +6 dodge
    Level 6: +8 dodge

    Good luck calculating this! And like my first calculator (DPS), it might be useful! And again... I did this all on an iPad! Give me some credit! Good luck to all!

    Yes I would.

    This was the mechanics from 2011.

How you spend these points can have significant consequences on how effective your character will be. It will affect their attributes, skill damage, and what equipment they can wear.

    Remember the following though (before equipment is taken into account):

    Adding strength (str emphasizes survivability, at the expense of damage)
    - Each str point gives you 0.02 dmg per hit, so you need 50 points of str for 1 extra dmg
    - Each str point gives you 0.03 crit, so you need 33.33 (recurring number) points of str for 1% extra crit
    - Each str point gives you 0.025 dodge, you you need 40 points of str for 1% more dodge
    - Each str point gives you 0.02 H/S, so you need 50 points of str for 1 H/S more
    - Each str point gives you 0.05 armor, so you need 20 points of str for 1 armour more (this one is unverified)
    - Str points also increase your hp reserves. Every 2 points of str increases your hp by 1, rounded down.

    Adding dex (dex emphasizes maximum weapons damage at the expense of survivability and mana)
    - Each dex point gives you 0.15 dmg per hit, so you need 6.67 points of dex for 1 extra dmg
    - Each dex point gets you 0.167% hit, so you need 6 dex for 1% more hit
    - Each dex point gets you 0.032 crit, so you need 31.25 points of dex for 1% more crit
    - Each dex point gets you 0.0125 dodge, so you need 80 points of dex for 1% extra dodge
    - Each dex point gives you 0.01 H/S, so you need 100 points of dex for 1 H/S more
    - Each dex point gives you 0.025 armor, so you need 40 points of dex for 1 armour more

    Adding int (int is like a compromise between everything)
    - Each int point gives you 0.08 dmg per hit, so you need 12.5 points of int for 1 extra dmg
    - Each int point gets you 0.1% hit, so you need 10 int for 1% more hit
    - Each int point gets you 0.02 crit, so you need 50 points of int for 1% more crit
    - Each int point gets you 0.005 dodge, so you need 200 points of int for 1% extra dodge
    - Each int point gets you 0.005 h/s, so you need 200 points of int for 1 h/s more
    - Each int point gets you 0.02 m/s, so you need 50 points of int for 1 m/s more
    - This one is not yet confirmed, but every 2 points of int increases your mana reserve by about 1 (the game seems to have some oddities with rounding)
    I recommend digging up Physiologic's old posts too. It's unfortunate but much of the knowledge of the game mechanics appear to have become a lost art.
