Arcane Legends 8th Birthday Celebration!

Happy 8th Birthday, Arcane Legends!

It's been 8 Legendary years in Arlor, and it's time to celebrate in the best way we know how: with cake and presents (for you!). We'll be celebrating for two (2) whole weeks starting November 12th at 1:30pm (ending 11/26).



To get started, put on your party hats and head out to defeat monsters all over Arlor! Foes within 8 levels of you (ex. 68+ if you're lvl 76, or 48-64 if you're level 56) will drop cake slices to collect.



Craft your slices into larger and larger cakes, or loot cakes of all sizes from Arlor bosses (also within 8 levels of you). But don't dig in right away! Take your cakes to the nearest town or your guild hall, because birthday cakes of all sizes will explode and grant items to you and 4 nearby players!



Including some festive birthday furnishings!



Here's the breakdown:

Small Cake Loot

For you: 1 Birthday Token
For 3 others: 5x Health Potion or 5x Mana Potion
For 1 other: a slice of 8th Birthday Cake

Medium Cake Loot

For you: 5 Birthday Tokens and a chance to loot Birthday Balloons for your house!
For 3 others: 500 Gold!
For 1 other: a Small 8th Birthday Cake

Large Cake Loot

For you: 25 Birthday Tokens and a chance to loot the Birthday Banner for your house!
For 3 others: a random weak or damaged Jewel!
For 1 other: a Medium 8th Birthday Cake

Grand Cake Loot

For you: 100 Birthday tokens and a chance to loot the Birthday Cake furnishing!
For you and everyone else nearby: the Grand Cake summons the BIRTHDAY BANDIT!

Defeat the Birthday Bandit for a chance to loot:

+ Random Damage Jewel
+ Random Weak Jewel
+ 8th Birthday Cake Slice

Then, visit the Party Planner to spend your tokens on a new series of Infinity inspired vanity wings and weapons, embodying every Legend's wish for many, many, more happy birthdays to come! Plus, the new Cake Box back vanity and 8th Birthday Banner.







A special "Infinity Engine" banner can be looted from Bosses during the event:


The Party Planner isn't the only one celebrating, though. Keep an eye out for Vantor, the Party Pirate! He'll be hanging around Windmoore with a selection of vanity weapons worthy of a special occasion.







And finally, we have the Locked Birthday Box, where the Jarl safely stashes some of his favorite birthday gifts. This special locked crate contains gold, Arcane Level 76 Armor, Helmets, Weapons, Belts and Artifacts, this year's Birthday Jumpsuit and new Birthday Shades vanity items:


...and the "Arcane Engine" banner:


Completing the "Infinity" vanity item set with the jumpsuit, shades, wings and a weapon will summon 'The Infinity Aura,' and a chance for the Infinity vanity proc when defeating an enemy.



Then, head out on your next adventure with one of 4 new pets, including a brand new Legendary jellyfish pet: Eterno, and some Arcanite pets reminiscent of your very first days in Arlor:


Eterno can be purchased for tokens and Eterno's Egg can be looted from the Locked Birthday Box.

Commemorative Arcanite versions of Arlor's classic starting pets can also be looted from the Locked Birthday box (in Egg form).







You can visit the store during the event for the Massive Locked Birthday Box which offers 3 pulls on Locked Birthday Box loot. Triple the pulls, triple the fun.

And speaking of the store, you'll want to stop by this weekend (November 14th and 15th) to get one of a limited number of Infinity Aura Wisps!
