I'll give you another scenario instead. During the Dragkin Temple event at around wave 100+, a friend stands at 33k hp w/ arc taika and dmg reduce lix.

The mob throwing spear still ended him in 1 shot. That being said, lets assume the mob inflicted 33k dmg, and with Arc Precious that 33k dmg would've been lowered to 24.75k.

Arc Precious - 28-29k hp, gets hit by 24.75k dmg and survives.

Arc Taika - 33k hp but dies

Ok then it seems arc precious with its stacking dmg reduction is better than arc taika’s hp boost for wave like events. No wonder players are paying 100m when it’s the best pet now in pve since it gives stacking Damage and stacking damage reduction; assuming the players are using dmg reduction elixirs all the time

The 15% damage red from arc shogg is useless in pve bcuz its ignored when u use elixir as its not stacking.. So it's a pvp pet

In evg if u try lb its quite needed.. If just running with a good war mb its not needed cuz he will tank them right.

Damage Reduction partnered up with a (stacking)Dmg Reduction source (lv76 Belt Proc, Arc Arie AA, Arc Precious HB), their calculation would be multiplicative not additive.

You get hit by 1000 damage while u posses Arc Precious + 25% dmg reduce lix would result to 1000*(0.75)*(0.75) = 562.5 dmg. Not 1000*(0.5) = 500 dmg.

In the case of two (stacking)Dmg reduction sources, for example Arc Arie AA + Arc Precious Hb, then yes, they're added and would result to 40% damage reduction.

Arc arie + Precious hb, since they are both stacking type, they add. For non stacking dmg reduction source they'll be multiplied instead.

Arie + precious + lix results to 1000(0.75)(0.60).

The conclusion came from actual tests.

Ahh I see, good to know you have tested it. I previously thought(read somewhere) Elixir stacks(adds) to HB/gears lol

Not a typo. Arie Precious provides 15 and 25 respectively.

This pet is best suited for temple events and Pvp brackets.

Needless to say, this ain't practical for Evg/Deep not only because of its cost, but better alternatives like Armored Zhulong would still be best for Evg due to its dmg output in my opinion.

how did you count 55%dmg. mephisto aa gives +50% 'not stacking' dmg, with arc precious hb it should add 87,5%dmg

Yeah in evg mages and rogues only need full bd. Do not use armor health awakes because its useless. Warrior solos small enemies and taunts bosses keeping them piled as mage and rog attack from a distance. Even if they did have good armor and hp they still get 1 shot. Im war and even on wave 86~ I get one shot by the main bosses unblockable grenade attack.
Unblockable by hit no matter what unless shield is on.
