Greed in AL
I've played for a long time and since i just came back to the game I've noticed alot of players being greedy in the auction, an item could be worth 60m and in 1 day it's dropped to 30m because of pure greed in the auction. People underselling others by 5m on an item that's only worth 50m, sucks when you have that item and just watch greed cause the price to drop so drastically.

How is putting an item under auc price greedy? It only indicated the previous price was overpriced. THATS greedy

Some people sell cheaper for fast sell, that's not greedy. Like Spooked said, you're the one being greedy here...

AL is basically a merching gameu cant put ur feelings into it too much all business. If ur willing to take a 5m loss then so be it. Thats is not considered as greed. Thats a quick sale strategy.
However there are times where u can tell someone is greedy like when u see the same name pop up in the auction house constantly listing the same items that never sell just a couple gold lower than others items. No name *cough cough* but his name starts with a Z and rhythms with broth
Regardless auction house should be used with strategy and respect because its one auction for the tons of players we have. Keep in mind it might not always sell so it at your own risk. If u know an items is in auction longer than two days it’s most likely not gonna sell (meaning thats not the real current price) so why not list a little cheaper

thats what AL is good for, WE set the prices and add value to the items. its STS gives us the tools to help create a fair economy, but undercutting is just part of that equation.

Market Manipulation don’t even exist just be careful of fake sellers and ppl who undercutt learn how to undercut and I promise you will be just fine the motto is in AL 50/50 chance if it look to good to be true it probably is

But there is difference between putting your own item/product at lower price and manipulating whole market of certain items to the point you exploit it.
I think you could make whole study just based on AL economy lol
kinda what's going on with that old bone set lol XD (i think that really funny). but if you don't educate yourself on items and their worth, even the most experienced player will have umm....problems like this XD. ive always undercut items i sell (really to get rid of it lol). Im not saying exploits dont happen...actually they happen all the time. its when you accidentally sell an item way below the "perceived value" and its actually worth more....whos the victim XD
person A ---selling an item at a low cost (when a well-experienced player knows the true value)
person B ---the person selling item way overpriced (and someone buys it) just to see later he was ripped off
they are both wrong in reality XD. that's why STS has measures in place to help eliminate exploits...but there's always that few trying to get something for nothing. please be prudent in all transactions
I also suffered a big loss recently actually, so really I have no one else to blame. I should have looked it up. It was a lesson well learned and will not repeat in the future, this goes for buying & selling.

Market is pretty much safe buy or sale at risk of fluctuations including people underselling or what ever..
This game has a very unique market.. very similar to supply and demand ..
It can he hard at times .. I been on game years and have had my fair share of market fiasco ..
But overall the market is good.. just be aware alot of people do underbid and put a 3 day sale on.. which pretty much shuts down the highest price above that..
Thats why for me I wait til I see about 10 of the item on market then I start my sale..
Wait for the supply to go up a bit before I commit to a sale and I go under usually.. but so low that my items sell fast..

How is it greed if someone undercuts someone else's price in auc? It's their item they can list for whatever price they wish. If they wanna undercut by 1g then let them, there is no rule against it. This is just how AL works and quite frankly the real world works this way too. Get use to it.
