Again, spiders are not bosses. Elite damage works against them.

Im not a dev but I've played long enough to know the answer.

If what you're fighting doesn't have a red circle it is not considered a boss.

At one point and time most everyone, me included, changed their awakening to BD but couldn't figure out why it took so long to kill spiders.

Devs confirmed at that time spiders are not bosses and BD will not affect them.

What you need sir is Elite Damage awakens for those pesky spiders, so a combination of BD and ED if you want to be most effective... The perfect apple pie needs more than just apples

Not sure how familiar you are with forums, but there's no need to delete the thread after someone answers your question. Maybe in the future someone has the same question as you, so instead of making a new similar thread, they can just check yours instead. This also means there was no point in editing your first post.
