OK folks, where do you get your money from? I'm a recently levelled 45 but don't appear to have much money and I'm looking to increase my bank balance so that I can buy some decent items. I'm seeing items being sold for 100k, 150k, 200k or more and I can't imagine where you can get that kind of gold from. Is it just hours and days of playing, or do you know of some good areas/levels that tend to serve up lots of gold?

Please tell me how you made your millions.

(Btw, I'd also be interested to know ball-park figures of how many money you have compared to how long you've been playing).

Other people get items from ao2. Then, just sell all the oranges greys and whites you may get while in ao2 you usually get a good amount of orange and white drops there. Sell the pinks you find if they are rare. Still, sell nonrare ones for like 10k or something

Yeah just play and liquidate junk, eventually it builds up. Selling pinks can make you some gold too.

There's a wick way to make about 30-50k an hr...but don't tell.

If you have the skill to run to something quickly and killing all.

You go to AO2-3 (the power leveling place) and grind it. Make a password portected make sure no one joins cause the loot will be split. There's 2 ways to do this...DMG Pot or no DMG Pot. A DMG Pot is 1.5k and I can do a run in about 2-3 Minutes. You make about 3-4k Per run, minus the 1.5k, that's 1.5-2.5k per run. 3 minutes a run...that's roughly 35k avarage In an hr with a DMG Pot. You can run it without a DMG pot and should take you no more then 5 Minutes. So that's 30k avarage an hr.

NOTE: my first equation was done with the 1.5k minumum..,it can be more
thus making your income higher then 35k with DMG Pot.

Plus kills...you won't be made fun of.

EDIT: the money comes from you liquidating all the loot, and money the mummies drop.

@Holybean, what classspec were you using? Each one takes a different amount of time. I have found my talon bear blows through that place, but my archer is much slower.

I just farm with some buddies, liquidate the junk I get, and sell the good stuff, and do what Holybean/Chicksdigcookies said, it pays off.

EDIT:
Remember that not all of us are rich, during AO1 I had about 50K tops, now I have roughly 700K, I did have a lot more until I started buying a ton of stuff for freinds.

I've seen Full dex archers clear it in same time too. (Thekingknight and Nostero)

Yeah, I myself prefer either a pally or dex bear for power leveling someone alone, more AoE attacks than archer, and dex bear is ranged, and pally has higher health.

The time to clear this has been drastically altered by the turn to shoot spasms (OMG, is he still going on about that, give it a rest StuffNFluff). Was power leveling some people and almost didn't get it cleared before their pots ran out. It was also quite a bit less fun then it used to be.

The way i do it, it takes patience. if you buy a rare super cheap item, then you wait for a desperate person to come along. you make a huge profit. usuallly 100k. note: the 100k payoff is SLOW.

example. i bought a pharoahs sword of thoth for 10k. i sold it to a guy who wanted it badly for 100k

Pretty much. sold a mam pin for like 70k. its really rare, but dreamers bony fire pin has the same stats. and its super super unrare

Dreamer's Bony Fire Pin has Dreamer's stats so, 7 Int, 3 H/S, 2 M/S, and Mamboza has, well, Mamboza stats, so, 7 Int, 2% Crit, 5 M/S, I am not so sure the Bony Pins damage and speed, ad over all DPS, but even if it is the same, the Mamboza is better IMO for the 5 M/S.
