I find it hard to run with my friends.

I personally don't mind hanging out in town, playing ctf, going to pl, or actually doing something irl (ikr? Shocking) while I'm waiting for my energy to replenish. My beef with the energy system is it makes it virtually impossible to consistently run with friends. A big part of what makes mmos awesome, is the grinding and and accomplishing things with your buds. So far, it feels a lot more like hacKing and slashing your way through the game solo, or with randoms. To grind with friends, you basically have to be at the exact exact same part if the game, with the same amount of energy.


Thats really my only problem with the game up to this point. I think the graphics and sound are amazing, and I like the customization. the pace of ctf is fun too. It's a nice break from the "go" and crying players of pl. You don't have time to cry in dl, ill kill you before you finish typing, "omg y u rush me noob?!". XD

I think that's more of a function of being in the early days of the game. You mention it being hard to play with friends because they at different points in the game. As more unlock deeper into the game, that will likely not be as much of a sticking point.

Fair enough. Time will tell. I'm always very hesitant to complain about something so new.
I honestly think this game is awesome, just wanted to point something out that worried me the first day of playing.

Hey Sam, speaking of joining friends. I couldn't quite figure it out. On a mission that a friend is in there is an icon superimposed on the mission icon. When I click it gives me options:

Play Solo
Play multi
Join Friend

When I click join friend, it only gives me the option to send a message. Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Aedenos,

We don't let you join a friend who is in a map that is almost finished, or has finished, for the very reason that Walkhardd was concerned about. We don't want you to waste your energy on a map that's almost done.

Instead, we let you send your friend a message. I'd suggest something like, "Hey buddy, what's up? What to run another map with me?" and go from there

What is also kind of funny is when I play multi-player mode and I'm the only one in the instance, thank goodness people normally join within a minute or two Unless...there isn't an instance sorter is there? Where I can look for games like in PL/SL? I'm still working out the interface haha
