This is great. Though that privacy option isn't so private if for example, 2 or more players in a team, some has it toggled the others does not. Spying on someone via watching another player.
On the side note, will be there another set of achievements (looking at the screenshot)?

I don't see why it is a problem somehow, aren't this how games like mobile legends, Leagues of legends, marvel super war are? The only concern is private chat isn't it?

There’s a bug, when i turn off the “Allow Friends to watch” my friends can still spectate if they have already joined the spectating mode

There is also the command: /watch "ign" for those who dont know yet.
Can it be made so that whn a player want to spectate there's a pop up on screen similar to party invite asking for permission?
This can work so well imo.
Also in settings adding option for them to see/not see msgs cuz if I wanna talk with those watching me I can enable and chat with em and if I'm on a private chat with others I can disable it so it protects privacy.

I'm pretty sure Sts has thought of chats being kept confidential while spectating. It isn't a problem if it doesn't occur, I mean if you atleast tried it first.
The privacy option is there for a reason, to prevent players snooping up your business. But in this case, it has a flaw that needs further looking.

In marvel super war for example, I have friends who disable the watch option, but I know who they are in party with so I can still watch from my other friends who have not disabled spectators. I don't think u can block everyone from watching you if there's at least one person who allows it in a party.
An approach to solve spying is to have those that have theirs toggled off be invisible towards others who are spectating those that have theirs toggled on.

This is so common in 5 v 5 pvp games lol, random chat will appear ("noob iron man" for example) when u r fighting XD.
The thing is once a player is able to spectate, regardless of how they got inside in the first place, they will and should be able to spectate everything that happens in the party private or random
