Mage: Help Wanted

Hi,

I am a noob mage started 1 month ago. I somehow got my hands on both Elite Skra Gun and Staff.

I am told I need to proc them together, I am noob can't figure it out.

Can anyone help me? The Staff proc runs out before and the gun doesn't proc. I am using hotbars

Use fireball clock curse charge fireball clock when staff proc switch rifle simple luck if ur gun manage to proc just repeat it till target is dead simple buy ebon armor for haste more attck more chances of procs (talking to gun here) magma doesn't help gun to proc so it's useless for staff fireball and clock is enough to proc

Wouldn't you proc gun first then staff? Like Rogs proc bow then dagger.

Exactly. Also its 3 steps process. Even a WARRIOR explained it recently (last week) in another thread

Wouldn't you proc gun first then staff? Like Rogs proc bow then dagger.

I donno about majority I personally proc staff first cz the proc is easier to see, then switch to gun until I see it procs then switch back to staff

Like i said, its 3 steps process if you want to maximize and simplify procs effect :

1.- First of all, when you are fighting vs boss, start with skratch rifle. I recommend you to charge auto-attacks to get proc up faster.

2.- When your rifle procs, switch fast to staff. The DoT from rifle's proc should help to trigger staff's proc at the very moment you equip it.

3.- Switch back to rifle inmediatily and spam skills/auto-attacks.

You need at least 2 loadouts to do this. Keep in mind that due to procs nature, most of people use rifle with boss dmg gear, and staff with stats gear (can use staff with boss dmg gear too, but kinda irrelevant).
Also use fireball (no need to charge) and timeshift (this charged and with ticks upgrade) during 1st step. This way you add another 2 DoT sources to enemy, so the moment you switch to staff its easier to trigger proc fast.
