Dragon staff question

Can anyone tell me uses of dragon staff (arcane wep) and is it still useable or useful rn?

Used to be the good uses were either for proc at boss, or charge attack has an aoe but ds is eclipsed by newer procs.
Unless you can’t afford skratch weapons, then you may find use.

However the only old weap I still use is bal staff, it’s still situationally useful with hotbars.

Is it better to use this instead of tainted staff for bosses then? I don’t have skratch btw

If u don’t have skratch yeah the ds proc may be better compared to taint for bosses. Bleed is good on boss
Best might be for you to proc ds then switch to taint if it has better stats and grab buffs from taint
