It says something about custom avatars on the avatar settings page but i cant figure out how to put in my own custom avatar. How do you do that?

The forum users that have custom avatar options is a known random bug that occurs from time to time.

Unfortunately this isn't an option on these forums, and is removed as soon as it's seen by an Mod/Dev.
