Sounds access problem for me.
First be sure you windows account is administrator.
Then right click setup file and choose "run as administrator"
Also hunt found from google you might wanna try.

◦ For Windows 7: The value of ImageState in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State ◦ For Vista: The value of ImageState in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State ◦ For XP: The value of AuditInProgress in HKLM\System\Setup
4. Right-click the registry key and select Modify. 5. Delete the value and click OK.
