Lowered Damage?

There's a new DPS stat but my damage is lower now? Is this supposed to happen?

DPS = old damage stat
Damage = as calculated by attack.

This was the same before, if you noticed, your damage didn't go up by the amount of damage on the weaoin, because that damage stat was actually DPS.
