Please allow a way to disable the "Joined the Guild" notifications

These "Joined the Guild" and "left the guild" notifications that take up the upper third of the screen real estate are distracting and annoying as hell. There are times when my screen freezes up for several seconds in the middle of a fight because so many new members join in a row.

If you have Guild chat open, you can easily see when new members join without breaking up the flow of the game or chat so the larger notification is just a duplicate. Can we please get a tick box to disable the large pop-up??? (and if there already is one, can someone tell me where it is? I've unticked every box that looks like it might be relevant and short of leaving the guild there looks like there's no way to disable these notifications.

Edit: editing to add that the "so and so has been made a recruiter" are the same kind of thing: completely annoying
