borderline unplayable due to join issues

The delay to join a map is slowing play down so much that I join runs when they are half way finished, I have shut down and rebooted my iPad multiple times My ping is just fine, between 98 and 168. There seems to be no lag once I manage to get in to the map. I just have trouble actually joining, and, most recently leaving a map. I could hear the music from th map I was in so I knew I hadn't actually left yet.

Since I was on a Plat Elixir, that is a waste of both the elixir and the plat. :-(

Edit: I have also tried un-installing and re-installing and that didn't work either.
