House Party 2021: BLOTTO'S RETURN!

It's party time again! With Arlor's most famous party crasher.

This week in Arcane Legends, it's time to take a break from adventuring and party hard! But be careful, there's a party crasher lurking in Arlor and he may have his eyes on your rocking shindig if it gets too rowdy.

How it Works

Gather 20 or more of your friends and guild mates in your house (guild halls don't count*) for a party! You get to decide what to do at this party. It's just the number of people that counts.

*For those who are curious, we're considering a Guild Party event in the future! But, this is a house party!



A realm-wide broadcast message saying "The Party Crasher is looking for a party to crash" will appear a few minutes before "Blotto" spawns!



If you have 20+ people in your house immediately after this message displays (approximately 5 minutes), it's party time! When Blotto the Troll arrives, team up with your party goers to slay the party pooper before he smashes your favorite vase!



Once slain, Blotto has a chance to drop gold and some of the many furniture items he's knicked from other parties, along with a special event crate. Both hosts and their guests can pick up the loot.

New This Year:

For those that played last year, there are some important changes to the event this time around!

• Loot will be the same for both attendees and hosts!
• You must do damage to Blotto to receive loot. High-level hosts, that means don't forget to let your lower-level guests get a hit in before you go ham.
• Gold payouts have been adjusted. The lowest amount is lower (1500), while the highest is a little bit higher (110,000).

Blotto's Loot

Gold:

Blotto has a chance to drop gold in amounts anywhere between 1,500 and 110,000!

Furnishings:

• Green, Purple, and White Arcanite Room Dividers
  
  
• The very rare "Tube Man" furnishing.
  
  

Event Crate

Blotto's Misplaced Lockbox has the chance to drop additional furnishings along with other exciting items.

Gear:

• Lvl 76 Arcane Gear, Weapons, Belts, Rings, and Artifacts

Vanities:

• Midnight Loungewear
  
  

Pets:

• NEW Mads the Goof-ball's Egg

The House Party Event will run for one (1) week starting 5.20, ending on 5.27.

This event is just great. Can meet a lot of new people and make friends. The only thing that this event was lacking last year was its unfairness, where only the host could loot all the expensive staff. But this time it's fixed. Thanks a lot Cinco!!

Just a quick thought If you must do damage to the boss to get loot if you have a house full of rogues the odds of you getting damage in before they kill blotto may be slim. Similar to the idea brought up before what if the damage is limited within the house so we all do equal damage or something along the lines of "everyone has to attack once for blotto to die" Of course just ideas I know for sure they won't be implemented but it would be nice. - Atoned
