Everything is acting stange.

Hi. Like the title says, everything has gone weird. I log in, go to house and either everything is black or I immediately disconnect.
My hotbar has disappeared but hopefully it will come back, my minimap won't work. On good days I'm I'm lucky if it's just the fact my pets are turned into shadows.
It happens when my ping is fine. Everything else on my phone is working ok. I uninstalled and reinstalled game, I cleared all junk files and cache, I even deleted some alts.
I re-booted and I can't think of anything left to do. I've plenty of storage space, oh and I stopped background data in all other apps.
It's been happening for about a fortnight, never had any trouble with AL before.
Hope someone can advise me please.

If game is install on a memory card, try installing it directly on your phone instead, it sound like data corruption, hope it help

Thankyou. It's not on memory card, well it wasn't last time I looked, I'll check again. I got my hotbar back but it's very faint. My mini map came back but that may go again, it has before.
It's a mystery but I'll do my best to crack it.

I did look on sd card and there was a file there for AL but was empty. I deleted it anyway.
There's lots of empty files on there.
I'm techno idiot. 😣

Actually they were folders, is it safe to delete empty folders on sd card?

If i was you i would uninstall AL, delete those folder relate to AL on your sd card, remove sd card and reinstall AL while sd card is out of the phone, then try AL if all is good, then put back your sd card!

Thanks but I already deleted the folder because it said empty.
I tried the game and it does seem better. If it starts doing it again (acting weird) I'll do exactly what you advised above.

Well I'm due for a new phone. It happened again. I logged in and this time it showed my logging in details on the screen I was using in-game. I was actually in a town and my details showed at the top of the screen.
I think it was an overlap. I did log out, uninstalled, ejected sd card, opened game. The screen flickered on and off, froze then disconnected.
I've activated sd card and logged in again. Seems fine but I don't know how long for.
Like I said at the beginning of this saga, everything else on my phone works fine.

It's just so frustrating because I thought it was all fixed. 😢

I even factory reset, I did back up my apps etc. There's plenty of memory, I have this game and three other games that are offline puzzles games that use hardly any data and mimimal storage.
Everything works fine apart from AL. I can't count how many times I've cleared junk files and cache, I've looked into network settings and everything is at should be.
Someone did ask me if it has happened since my phone was updated to Android 10 but it was updated to that ages ago and it's only recently I've had problems.
I don't get this problem all the time, it seems to happen more when I first log in.
I'd appreciate any suggestions, I'm far from being an expert. I'm using mobile data which is unlimited and my ping is usually low. I have disconnected abruptly with low ping.
I've also disabled background in apps.

The only possibilities I can see based on the description of your issues are bad graphic drivers or hardware failure, so make sure your device is up to date, and if it still happens, there's really nothing else to be done other than replace the device.

My device is up to date, it's android 10. Like I previously stated, it only happens when I'm playing AL. I'm using it now and having no issues.
Replacing a device is not an option at the moment, it is quite an expensive business.
The world won't end if I don't play for a while.
