The arguments have been had many times already. I'm not going to rehash it.

I agree with Aculeas, I won't be spending any of my money on these grab bags because the items are not worth anything near what they could potentially cost.

I agree there, especially considering they will be quickly outstripped when cap increase comes along.

I talked to Carapace yesterday. He said as a gamer he feels strongly that players should not have to re-buy their platinum items. They are planning out a system to update your plat gear most likely crafting. But it's pretty much up in the air as he phrased it. I also have some screenshots of the conversation I will put up later.

My opinion on this thread: I personally like the system so that they are able to keep platinum items somewhat rare. I know many gamers hate gambling of any sort, but I believe it's to make an item feel special. No I haven't bought many packs yet so I have yet to feel your pain. But I think it's better than having every player with the same items.
