I believe the banner was originally supposed to be gold but for season it's black and purple and instead of fixing the banner they just changed the badge to match the banner.

I'm just checking if this is a bug or if it's been modified. because so far players only know the color of the badge. And no one knows the color of the banner before it is displayed on the leader board.

Only reason I started normal seasonal was the all gold badge wow way to waste my gold n time sts...wat a joke I'm so mad now
I'm running this seasonal lb for that yellow badge and now that it's been changed to poopoo color I already regret opening my stuff I saved for the top spot in this season's lb even if it hasn't ended yet. I really hope you reconsider changing the badge back to the way it used to.
Should've changed the color of the badge when the season hasn't started yet imo.

I've been preparing for more than two seasons for season 22, which was only released by the badge. when the season started, the banner (which had just been released) did not make a connection with the badge that had been promised for more than 1 year in this season, the badge that was being advertised for season 22 was changed during the season. It is not acceptable that the badge q has been promised for season 22 for over a year to be brutally altered by a banner that has been poorly connected to the season. From a player who has lived in the world of arlor since the end of 2012 I come to ask you to reconsider this change... [reconsider possible mistakes. My language is different]

Please cinco consider changing back to gold badge it's what everyone was expecting...maybe can change the banner to match gold badge? And keep these banner and badges for a future season
I think it’s unfair that they show us that we can get a gold badge, and then after everyone’s grinded for it, it gets changed to diarrhoea colour

This is really not what I was waiting for to run seasonal leaderboard for that badge. It was expected to be bright gold, not how it is right now :/

Not running for the badge, but still voting +1 though because it looked much better + people already opened their eggs and stuff expecting to get the Gold Badge.

Well the reward was fix for 6 months and we was awaiting it to NOT change. ofc we are mad angry whatever. Me personally I wasted 20m in this alrdy. I remember a dev saying that they won't change lb rewards bc of player alrdy having earlier decided if they want go for lb or not, would be unfair. Well that happened.

Technically it is a guess, but for all the past seasons, the badge color has always been the same color as the inside of the new seasons banner. Since the season 22 badge originally had a gold color, one would expect the banner to atleast have the inside color of the banner be gold. Well, you get what you get and you don't get upset!
Just change it Cinco, u should expect this..people never stop complaining even if you replace feces with diamond..people always find something to complaint. So, just revert that badge back to the ugly version.
Maybe its just a prank because if you look at all of the other badges they are very bright and this one is a complete shadow.

It is true that the upcoming colours of season banners haven't been published, the badges that match the theme of the banners are published in game. Altho it is also never been published that the badges and banners will always match the colour theme, over the seasons that exactly what has been happening hence the expectations of the community.
Fair enough changes were needed to be made to match the theme, would it not be possible on this occasion, even as a gesture of goodwill perhaps, to make the changes so the banners match the badge that has already been published instead ?
Personally, I'm pretty made up with the Guildhall Slots + Plat sale (shame I can only buy x3 a day sigh) and it was a good ending to the season, LOADs of banners (more than ever before) been earned by players, expansion is on the horizon maybe perhaps this could be the last season to focus on a seasonal character as we might be lucky enough to be busy with the expansion the during season 23 :3
So whilst the air is buzzing and everyone's enjoying life, could there be any chance of this gesture of good will be considered and have the badge back to the shiny gold and the banners be changed to match the theme instead please?
