    Tbh I think it is a great idea

    They should add unique small new awake to items at every awake event.

    Past was gl on helm and armor
    Now haste on artifact
    Next yea could be damage reduction on pendant
    Then hp regen on ring..

    The way they added to artifact it will not mess stats so yea I think

    +1 would be a nice awake for hardcore toons. Needs to be stackable reduction ofc.

    Since they put the cap to 70 % i don’t mind them putting sdr awakes on items.
    Cause you can get that from pets and lix .
    Lix25%+arc precious/Loveling 25%+ baby bliz/meph 25/50%
    Which is more then 70% as pet combo.
    And on top of that we have wrangler belts which also gives 25% sdr.
    It wont break game until they add options like 10-15% sdr on one slot then people will not even bother using skills timings on pets to get 70% cap they will simply awaken it .

    yes it was updated after the nerf mephisto thread, so it put a end to the cries of over 100% SDR

    This isn't the best idea for normal players so already mentioned plenty easy ways to get damage reduction as mentioned above.

    It would be a good idea if it was a Hardcore Exclusive awake instead however only problem with having it from HC would be the ability to pass the gear back to main after a op awake, so unless was a mechanic in play where any HC exclusive awakes stay on HC only and cannot be transferred to main, then this would work nicely

    I will explain this because there has been some confusion.
    Damage reduction/mitigation (it's the same) is devided into stacking and non-stacking bonuses. Two stacking bonuses add up (25%+25% are 50% reduction).
    The change that has been made only affects this type of reduction and no non-stacking bonuses (like glowstick AA, elixirs or fatima HB). Therefore, examples including glowstick are not relevant. Once you reach 70% with stacking bonuses alone the improvement above 70% will decline exponentially. The rate of this hasn't been announced.
    An example would be be 50% stacking reduction and 25% stacking reduction will result in something between 70% and 75% (both numbers excluded) - for example 71.5% because it is above 70% total. 25% + 20% will result in 45%. Nothing has changed here since it is below 70% total.

    Stacking Damage reduction is caped at 70% only glow gives non stacking damage reduction there is no cap on non stacking damage reduction
